Rubio's cafe is one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal. I usually go for lunch, but today I tried their breakfast. 10/10 you feel like family when you’re in there. I wish I could eat here every single day. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked, the plantains were so perfectly caramelized with the perfect bite of crunch on the outside and soft, sweet banana on the inside. Not a single bad thing to say. Was visiting from east coast and had breakfast there twice. Carlos, Maria and Darwin are kind and welcoming. The food speaks for itself. The breakfast burritos, aguas frescas and home made pastries were 10/10. Highly recommended and will definitely come back if whenever in LA :)

EVERYTHING, is phenomenal!!! Very kind staff, very nice family! I think about this place often, I live in Chicago which has great Mexican food as well but nothing compares to this place. Huevos rancheros, I dream about it.

Second time going and not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the customer service is very excellent. They actually greet you when you come in their doors and they treat you well. Reasonably priced for the portions and quality they give. Definitely recommend. I purchased 2 meals.
